Just found out were going on a short trip to the snow before the snow melts away for another year. Perisher and Thredbo in 8 sleeps with the work crew :)
Time to dig out the winter woolies for one last time this winter...well now spring...
Oh the places you will go!
You'll be on your way up! You'll be seeing great sights! You'll join the high fliers who soar to high heights. I get the itch to run often, in an ideal world I might never return home. For the moment though i'm discovering the world slowly and may have just scored the perfect job ...

Im in need of an adventure
Woke up this morning feeling very much like most other mornings, with a large urge to board a plane to some obscure destination. I need a bit of a thrill, need to look forward to some amazing journey. I want to go to Alaska, I want to see something different like the glaciers, a polar bear, the view from the top of the great wall of China....
But for now its back to planning other peoples adventures and baking cupcake treats for the ones I love most :)

Coolest places to don the swimmers
The Dead Sea
The Dead Sea is the lowest land point on the centre of the earth and comprises of around 300grams of salt per kilogram of water, around 10 times more than the ocean. The result? A complete feeling of buoyancy enough to support your full weight :)

Devils Pools - Victoria Falls Zambia
This is where nature has created its own infinity pool. Perfectly safe to swim in the dry season and 420 feet above the river below you can relax next to one of the worlds largest waterfalls.
Dean's Blue Hole
Dean's Blue Hole is the underwater sinkhole located in a bay west of Clarence Town on LongIsland, Bahamas. Measuring at 202 metres, it is roughly circular and has a distinctive and dramatic contrast of the dark blue deep waters of its depths and the lighter blue of the shallows around it.
Mila's Daydreams, a mother's interpretation of her baby's dreams.
A very creative advertising copywriter mother had the genius idea of creating 'dream pictures' around her angelic sleeping baby. With a wondrous mind she created dream like scenes around little Mila and began a blog. Here are some of 'Mila's daydreams.'

A bedroom only a princess could dream of!
I recently stumbled across this article with the help of a good friend and instantly fell in love with the family's beautiful Balinese home. Its truly something out of a fairy tale. The girls spend their days rowing wooden canoes in the moat around their open air multi level thatched home adorned with trinkets from around the globe. The bedroom is something out of a story book with a round bed and beautifully coloured mosquito nets and a hanging bees wax cage chair that smells like honey that her dad designed. My first thought when I stumbled across this bedroom was that even tinker bell would be jealous. Having spent a lot of my childhood years growing up at my mums shop the "Fairies Cottage" I couldn't even imagine having a bedroom as magical as the one below. A little girls dream.
